About Me
Nice to meet you, Im Jason but y'all can call me Boomer. My sister gave me the nickname when I was about nine years old and it just stuck. Now I'm fifty and still go by that. I've been pretty handy with things as far back as I can remember and just kind of fell in love with woodworking over the last ten years. I met my wife in 2014 and she's been my biggest fan and supporter throughout this journey. I'm proud of the life we've built and am eager to continue to improve my craft and pass things down to our three sons someday.
The Beginnings
We moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina in 2017. In August of that year I got some money in a birthday card and went out and bought three lengths of wood; walnut, cherry and maple. With those pieces I created my first cutting board and fell in love with the craft. I've been creating and learning since and haven't slowed down at all. Now after buying our house in York, SC in 2024 we have room to grow the business.
Current Creations
I love turning custom pens, bottle openers and pizza cutters at the moment and can create these using both domestic and also exotic woods from around the world. As well as using different woods I also create my own cast resin blanks with a few different organic materials. I enjoy creating cutting boards as well and will have those available soon.
